I didn't care for the factory roller button on the Frsky X12S Transmitter so decided to have a little fun designing/printing a replacement.
Now my Horus has a proper eye.
Printer: Original Prusa i3 MK2
Rafts: Yes
Supports: Yes
Resolution: 0.2mm
Infill: 100%
Notes:
I used Simplify3D to slice this and printed with full raft and custom supports to keep the bottom of the button clean. I ended up using two different processes, one for the button body and then one with a narrower extrusion width and higher infill overlap for the eye detail as Simplify3D would only print the outlines with no infill using my standard settings.
I also adjusted the inner diameter of the hole and flat for the switch shaft to work best with my slicer and printer. It took a couple of iterations to get right and may need further adjustment depending on which slicer and/or printer you use. I included a step file along with the stl to hopefully make that easier.
