Cowl for Parkzone P-51 Mustang (Gunfighter)

This cowl is meant to be a replacement one for Parkzone's P-51 Gunfighter.

Things to tinker with:

wall thickness There are three files, one with a wall thickness of 0.8mm, another one with 0.4mm and one solid one for you to experiment with different wall thicknesses yourself!

Results:

Vase Mode (Cura: spiralized outer contour): The part takes about 1 hour to print and ends up being pretty sturdy (as it is flexible) and very light, coming in at ~11 gr.

Settings (Hobbyking PLA):

• Hotend: 220C
• Hotbed: 70C
• Flow: 102%
• Speed: 60mm/s (initial layer: 30mm/s) *Fan speed: 0% (resolution suffers a bit but you almost can't delaminate the layers by hand)**
