I needed a good filament buffer for my Prusa MK3S+ with MMU2s. I like the one I found on Thingiverse (thanks GenCab https://www.thingiverse.com/GenCab) but I needed it slightly different. It isn't exactly a remix but complete rebuild but entirely based on the model of GenCab.
I made mine to stand on my desk using magnets in separate stand. Also I wanted the openings for the filament to be more accesible so I put openings for in and out in the lid.
Further more I created a spool holder for on my desk, also with magnets. The spool holders are connected with tubes to the filament buffer.
Needed:
For the buffer:
4x neodymium magnet 8x6 For the buffer foot (each):
2x neodymium magnet 10x6 For the spool holder (each):
1x PTFE tubing 4mm out, 2mm in, length: what you need. I have currently 1m but thats more than I need.
4x bearing 6mm x 13mm x 5mm This is still work in progress. The spool holders are not as I want them. I'm planning on making a seperate part for the part holding the PTFE tubing. Probably i'll be making a part which can be clipped onto the base so the spool can stay on the spool holder when putting the filament in the PTFE. Once that is done, you can clip that part on the base. But that's for later.

Notes:
I've designed the things to print without supports. Only the overhang above the magnets on the spool holder might give you 1 or 2 dangling strings of filament. I just cut them away. No supports used.
