Print this Holocron to uncover the darkest secrets of the Sith Order!

It also looks great on your desk next to your Jedi Holocron! 

You can even use it as a desk lamp, with the help of some LEDs!

Printing

Position the model with the bottom opening facing the build plate.

The model is currently too big to fit on your desk. I printed mine at 25% so that it could be proportional to the Jedi Holocron!

Print at FINE settings
I printed mine at 0.15 layer height.

Use 20% infill and print at 40 mm/s
I printed mine at 40 mm/s, although I think slower is better for this print.

I printed mine using TRANSLUCENT RED filament, in order to be able to shine a light under it. If you don't intend to use it as a lamp, I suggest you print it in NORMAL RED filament to skip part of the painting process.

Painting 

For the painting process, I just passed a few coats of GOLD paint on the outer parts of the print. After it dried, I sprayed the print with a clear coat of spray lacquer to prevent the paint from coming off.

*I just had to go over the print with Gold paint because I had already printed it with Translucent Red filament. If you are not printing with such colors, please adjust accordingly!

Lamp

If you want to use it as a lamp, you can simply insert a few red LEDs and a small battery on the bottom hole!
