G2" to G1" Adapter with Mounting Eye

I wanted to replace the tiny 1 inch filter from my cistern pump by a larger 2 inch one. So I designed this adapter. The larger diameter gives the strainer a larger surface area and makes it easier to pump the water for my plants.

The design features a mounting eye for attaching a float gauge.

Printing

I printed my adapter using PETG. Layer height: 0.15mm. No supports required.

The adapter has been designed using OpenSCAD and by using "Yet another thread library for OpenSCAD "(https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2277141) by arpruss. I have provided my source code for download, so you can adjust the design to your needs.
