This is remix of schweiz9394's remix of FragrantAbyss's bullet puzzle.
Its intended to be a puzzle giftbox with not too easy but not too hard maze to solve. In chamber you could put giftcard or small gift.
I created new bootom part and also complete new outer shell (top part) to be more rounded and overal somewhat ressembling shape of semi-automatic bullet as a 9mm Luger (I know, it is taller :) ) and also optimalized to 4 perimetrs wide.
On schweiz9394's page is also frustration-free map solution.
There is two versions of bottom part. One with debossed text 9mm LUGER and one plain, so you can deboos whatever you want in slicer.
UPDATE DECEMBER 2023
Becouse this is my most downloaded model, I decided to make updated model. Now it is much bullet like. I modified the inner part to be as round as possible. I created a completely new outer part to be as similar as possible to the LUGER 9mm cartridge. Because of this I had to change the overall dimensions a bit, the model is a bit taller but quite a bit wider. The photos show a comparison of the old and new model. I also managed to capture the slight conical shape of the bullet (due to the variable width of the Arachne extrusion in the new slicers, it is not so important to keep the same wall width).
I also adjusted the tolerances. However, there is somewhat of a problem with this. Different printers and different materials behave differently, and it's difficult to find values so that the outer shell slides freely but is firm enough. And also to fit securely in place at the end, when box is closed. So there are two versions of the top part available. And if the top piece doesn't hold when the shell is closed, put a spacer on the bottom edge. If, on the other hand, you can't turn the top piece at the end, just sand the bottom of the top piece a little.
The bottom part is again in a version with and without text.
Printing instructions.
I printed it in Sunlu Silk PLA, PM PLA and Prusamnet PLA. With resolution 0.2, but it can be done in lower resolution. With Silk PLA I used 3 perimeters, due to layer separation risk.
UPDATE: I found some silk filament to bee too prone to layer separation.
I have achieved the best results with PLA with 0.2 height (0.2 structural in new Prusa Slicer) and with a color change at the bullet.
The author remixed this model.
Completly new outer part, hugely adapted bottom to be more rounded, nwe bottom part and many minor tweaks in tolerances.
