Edit: 2024-09-20
I've merged & reworked the model to fix a bunch of issues & made it a lot easier to actually print.

Warning: This was one of my first 3D modeling adventures (from ~2015). The models here are iffy at best.

Dogbrand's upload was just a shell so I went ahead and gave it some thickness, broke it up into reasonable pieces, and made some somewhat interlocking faces.
The Slic3r outputs looked reasonable when the supports were set to rectilinear grid @ 60 degree threshold. Make sure "detect thin walls" is turned off. There were some strange artifacts when that setting was enabled.
I'm still undecided about the best printing orientation. How I have them rotated right now seems pretty decent but there are a lot of supports. The supports only interface with the interior of the model so it shouldn't mess up the results too much.
Edit: I'm not sure why thingiverse set the preview pieces rotated like they are. They should import into slic3r alright.
