Gate 53 - Now Boarding board game insert

Gate 53 is a board game insert designed to hold all the pieces for the Now Boarding game from Fowers Games. With this insert you can ditch the baggies and save time setting up and putting away the game.

This insert is a single piece, tailored to the exact size of the game box. There is just enough room at the top of the box to hold the board, setup card, and manual while still keeping to the original box profile when closed. This insert holds everything in place even when stored on its side or carried.

Features of the insert include:

• Pieces arranged similar to how a player builds their plane
• Concealed area under the tail pieces for storing anger cubes
• Card / Tile compartments have side cut outs for loading / unloading, as well as push through holes at the bottom to ease unloading if desired
• Cockpit compartment has risers to enable storage of two engine tiles for better overall profile
• The height of the timers serves to lock in the position of the board when in the box
• Plane hanger on the right stores each plane in an individual slot

• Game can be set up / played / and stored without the need for removing the insert from the box if desired. Due to the constraints on size, this insert does not support sleeved cards.

  This one is fairly large with a width of approximately 230mm.

  NOTE: The height is just a little too short to store all the engine upgrades in the single compartment. To address that, I store two of the upgrade tiles in the area under the cockpits, which has risers so the cockpits sit flush with the top of the insert.
